Off duty style is fashion meets comfort as our girls have to be fashion ready at the drop of a hat for fittings and interviews but they also have to be comfortable for travel making their off duty looks highly covetable. We’ve analyzed the best model off duty looks from 2019 so far to let you in on the secrets of how to mix comfort with style in the best way possible!
Gigi Hadid In All Black

Gigi could wear a black trash bag and still look flawless but her go to black ensemble is something every girl can pull off. Her simple outfit is one of the most versatile we’ve seen and brings together solid color, texture and variations for different seasons. This outfit is essentially just four pieces, a knitted sweater dress, a long line cardigan, ankle boots and sunglasses. A knitted dress like hers is incredibly flattering for every body type from athletic to slim, curvy to bootylicious. She’s layered a slimming long line cardigan over the top and we all know layers are important for predicting any kind of weather and paired with patent ankle boots for some contrasting texture. Finishing off the look are a chic pair of sunglasses, a prerequisite for the model off duty look but something every stylish woman should have in their purse no matter the weather. Sunglasses aren’t just for sunny weather girls, they’re ideal for keeping the cool air away from your eyes when it’s cold, hiding tired eyes or in Gigi’s case, shielding herself from the paparazzi. We love this look because it works with every season, choose a knitted dress with sleeves for Winter, a sleeveless version for Summer and opt for bare legs when it’s sunny or throw on a pair of tights or leggings when it’s nippy!
Hailey Baldwin In Over The Knee Boots
Our girl Hailey couldn’t look more effortlessly glamorous if she tried and yet this outfit is all built around a casual t-shirt dress. Like Gigi, she’s a fan of layering too but this time she’s gone a little further and opted for a tonal overall look. Her flowing maxi jacket, over the knee boots and satchel bag might all look the same color to the untrained eye but they are actually all slightly different shades resulting in a dynamic tonal outfit. She’s getting noticed for all the right reasons here! Another perfect example of how a go-to outfit can work for every season, without the jacket this look is ideal for Summer in the city, with the jacket it works for Spring and Fall and the addition of some leggings or tights and a scarf makes this look work for Winter too. Hailey has also been considerate about her heel height, just enough to lengthen the legs but not too high so they’re uncomfortable and impractical. If you want to work over the knee boots into your style, do show off the tops, don’t be afraid to let the world know you’re rocking these boots, there’s no point in hiding them under a long skirt when they could be confused with calf length boots. Of course, we’re not all Hailey Baldwin so if you’re worried about showing off too much skin, opt for thick leggings underneath and a more sturdy long line sweater dress instead of a t-shirt.
Soo Joo Park In Statement Orange

Soo Joo Park is taking a slightly more eclectic approach to her model off duty look. Pairing a kimono sleeve, roll neck sweater in statement orange with with a shearling jacket, cargo pants and a statement leather cinching belt. This is the perfect example of how to rock the statement color of the season without having it screaming in your face. Soo Joo has used deeper tones of the striking orange including camel/tan and chestnut brown to tone down and compliment the orange which is what makes this look simply click! You can do this with any vivid color that’s trending, just take earthy or more neutral tones of the color and use those within the rest of your outfit to ensure you look chic not circus! Her cinching belt doesn’t look the most comfortable we have to be honest but even without it, this outfit looks great and would definitely be more comfortable. There’s practicality built in here too, her cargo pants have deep pockets, she’s layering for all weather and her shoulder bag is just big enough to carry the essentials without going over board. Well done Soo Joo!
Kendall Jenner In Oversized Bomber
Over with Kendall Jenner, she’s working perfect tailoring with sportswear and she knows what she’s doing! The contrast between the contoured fit of those pants and the oversized nature of the jacket and sweatshirt oppose each other so much and yet it works. If you want to explore how Kendall pulls this look off, it’s all about proportion. The pants have the ideal length and width in order to carry the jacket and not make her look too large on top, while the boots she’s chosen are the correct length and height for the pants. Some people say brown and black together is a big no no but we say yes, especially when it looks like this!
