On December 9th, 2018, Nicolas Dumont, a French professional in luxury marketing and management, was invited to attend the first World Textile Education Conference hosted by the China Textile and Apparel Education Association and Donghua University, and made a speech entitled “Intangible Cultural Heritage in Fashion and the Training of Artisans in the Textile Industry”,which analyzes the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in China and the world, and introduces the application of intangible cultural heritage protection in the fashion industry and gives proposals for the protection of intangible cultural heritage in fashion education. Nicolas's speech gained the unanimous recognition and high appraisal of Chinese and foreign textile and apparel experts, and also demonstrated the good academic research ability and spiritual outlook of our teachers.
